Firstly, the surprise that most of you know was revealed last week. I have signed a contract with Phonak Openears to be a freelance writer! This is the biggest blogging opportunity that I’ve had. I wrote my introductory post, and if you’d like to give it a read, please click here: My first Phonak blog!
I have also submitted my second blog post and I’m hoping that it will be published next week. Hint: *about a hobby of mine*! For those who can’t work it out, you’ll just have to wait and see…
Secondly, I received some very exciting news last night, take a read…
My lovely mother has nominated me for the RAD 175 Birthday Honours Awards! She didn’t think I would get far in the nomination stage, but I’m chuffed to receive this! I’ll keep you all updated on the next stage of the process.
And thirdly, a while back I wrote a blog post regarding the Tax Office and the rather stupid comment that they wrote in a letter to me. To refresh your mind, take a read here: Blog post about the Tax Office – I also received an apologetic letter the other day from them…
That’s all I can do about that, but I hope they realise what they are doing wrong.
I’d just like to take a moment to thank all my Twitter fans, as I’ve reached over 500 followers! It’s lovely to socialise and tweet with you all, on a topic that we all have in common. – Deafie Blogger on Twitter
As I’ll be busy writing weekly for Phonak, I won’t forget you all, and I’ll try my best to update you on anything interesting!
Love E x
