I’ve recently discovered BSL Zone via Twitter and I can’t believe how good it is! Not only are there signed TV programmes with deaf people and actors, but also they have subtitles!
I watched Charlie Swinbourne’s documentary ‘Found’ which was very interesting. It showed deaf people’s personal experiences and thoughts about deafness, a lot which I could relate to.
Another programme which I’ve just seen is ‘World War II: Unheard Memories’ which documents deaf peoples’ experiences in wartime Britain. I’ve only heard and seen stories from hearing people, but never from deaf people so it certainly was an eye-opener! I’d definitely recommend watching it!
Hope that’ll give you something to watch after tea tonight!

I like watching the programmes there too, although it has been a while. Must go and see what there is again soon.
