Hello! How are you all?

It’s been a while since I last wrote a proper blog, so here I am, updating you all!

Summer’s over already… where has the time gone! It seemed like a lifetime ago when I went on holiday to Florida. It was fantastic, hot and a great experience and I miss it already!

These past few months have been rather busy, hectic and life-changing to say the least. I left my job as a Marketing Apprentice due to complications with the organisation and apprenticeship company. I was offered a job as a full time lifeguard, which I was due to accept but soon after, an even better opportunity came my way! I am proud to be employed as a Marketing Executive for a Spa & Health Club company. Marketing is a dream career of mine and I couldn’t believe that after all the stress from my previous job and not completing the apprenticeship, that someone saw that I had potential despite what happened.

I also passed my driving theory test a few weeks ago and I’ve got my practical test at the end of October, which I am nervous about!

If you’ve kept in the loop, you may know about Rikki Poynter’s new campaign (excuse the language), the ‘No More Craptions’ campaign. It’s happening this Sunday 25th September. Rikki’s campaign hopes to promote and raise awareness of the lack of proper captioning of YouTube videos. If you know any YouTubers, please encourage them to get involved! More information here.

Last of all, it’s Meningitis Awareness Week. Meningitis is a big issue and can be deadly if it’s not treated urgently. It’s quite close to me and I wrote a blog a while ago, which I’d like to share with you again. Please spread the word about the signs and symptoms and it might save someone’s life! ‘Why Meningitis is a big issue’
