The ‘Wonderstruck’ film ‘shines a spotlight on deaf culture’ as explained in this blog on HearingLikeMe. It also features deaf actress Millicent Simmonds, who made her movie debut!

It’s fantastic seeing more #DeafTalent on our screens and to see that they are casting Deaf actors and actresses for Deaf roles, than Hearing actors and actresses.
