What’s new? Well, I’ve started a petition!

As you know, I’ve had a long fight with cinemas to try and get more subtitled showings. Even though I’ve been in contact with cinemas, it’s gotten nowhere. There was a new blockbuster released last week that I’ve wanted to see with my hearing friend and there’s only one showing which I couldn’t make, out of the three cinemas in my area! It’s also not fair that my friend has to miss out, simply because there’s no subtitled showings.

I’m just frustrated and I really want to do something about it, to help Deaf people! This means it’s resorted to me starting a petition! You can view it below:

‘Cinemas to show more subtitled films at reasonable times’

This campaign really means a lot to me, and if we can get people to sign it to prove there is demand for subtitled cinema, perhaps we will be able to make a change!
